How long can I return a product?

You can see whether and for how long you can return a product

The return periods apply from the shipping or collection date. The date of the shipping stamp or the personal return is decisive for the return.

Will I be charged for a return?

Postage costs

  • Delivery to a branch: none
  • Parcel shipping: CHF 7.-
  • Logistics service provider for parcels from 30kg and 1.0mx 0.6mx 0.6m
    • Packed from the curb: CHF 60.-
    • Unpackaged and/or from place of use: CHF 120.-

In the following cases, the postage costs will be borne by Digitec Galaxus AG:

  • clothing or shoes
  • Receiving a different product than ordered
  • Incorrect product information in the online shop
  • Receipt of an unordered product
  • Receipt of an incomplete product

Compensation for expenses

  • Unopened, undamaged original packaging: none
  • Open packaging or used product: at least 10% or minimum deduction of CHF 10.-
  • Clothing and shoes without signs of wear, labels on the garment and original packaging present: none

How can I initiate a return?

  1. Register returns online via “ Returns, Repairs and Support ” in your customer account
  2. Select return reason and packaging condition
  3. Specify how you would like to return the product
    • Exceptions
      • Returns to the store only for products that can be ordered via pickup
      • Third party product only via shipping or logistics service provider
      • Parcels from 30kg or larger than 1.0mx 0.6mx 0.6m only via logistics service providers
  4. Submit return
  5. As soon as we receive your goods, they will be checked and a possible refund will be initiated (see also “Will I be charged for a return?”)

  • Our specialist department will contact you after registration and initiate the collection. Our logistics service provider will then coordinate the pickup date with you

What do I need to know about pick@home parcel collection?

  • Collection always takes place on weekdays
  • Collection can be booked up to 10 working days in advance
  • You can select pickup for the next day up to 11:59 p.m. the day before

Are there products that I cannot return?

  • Products with missing accessories
  • If the original packaging is not present
  • Electronic Software Licenses (ESD) and Food
  • Cars, electric cars or hybrid cars

The following products can only be returned if the packaging is unopened

  • Safety products such as child seats or climbing ropes
  • Consumables such as toner, filters, ink cartridges
  • Hygiene items such as toothbrushes, razors, etc.
  • Books, DVDs and software without a broken seal
  • Products used to prepare or store food such as blenders, pans, Tupperware, etc.
