Extended warranty

The legal warranty is often over quicker than you would like. That's why we offer you the option of extending the warranty period by 1 or 3 years for a variety of products. You can take out the desired warranty extension directly when purchasing the product or during the regular warranty period.

With a warranty extension, the financial consequences are maintained even after the statutory warranty has expired technical errors due to material, design and manufacturing errors covered.

For most products, an extended warranty with the “bring-in” service level is sufficient. In the event of a warranty claim, send us the defective product by post or simply bring it to one of our branches.

For warranty extensions with the “Pick-up & Return” option, an appointment will be made and picked up from your home – including delivery back to you. Such a warranty extension is particularly suitable for heavy and large products. Please note that the device must be suitably packaged for collection and general cargo shipments can only be picked up and delivered curbside.

The “On-Site” warranty extension offers you maximum convenience: Authorized service specialists will repair the defective device on site. If the device needs to be taken away for repairs, a replacement device will be provided to you. Thanks to our collaboration with authorized service providers, we can offer you this service for some selected products.

You can find the exact guarantee conditions in our general terms and conditions. Please note that technical defects caused by external influences (e.g. fall, water or wear and tear damage) are rejected by most manufacturers both during the regular warranty period and in the event of a warranty extension. For all accidental damage, it is worth checking your own household contents insurance or additionally taking out our equipment insurance.
In general, wearing parts such as batteries, accumulators, power cables, adapters, lamps and software problems are excluded from the guarantee.

Warranty Upgrades

For some products, we offer you the opportunity to improve the service level for the regular warranty period. This makes particular sense if you consider the manufacturer's service level to be inadequate. With the help of such a “guarantee upgrade,” you can, for example, benefit from a “Pick-Up & Return” service level from day one.

For many products, various warranty extension options are possible. To help you make your decision, we will show you a recommendation. The most sold warranty extensions are marked with the “Popular” label - so you can immediately see what other customers have bought. However, warranty extensions with the “Recommended” label are our suggestion. For example, for very heavy products, we recommend “Pick-Up & Return” or “On-Site” so that you don’t have to send or bring the device in yourself. These clues can be seen in the lightbox.

Express exchange service

In addition to the extended warranty, we also offer you the option of taking out an express exchange service as a warranty upgrade for mobile phones, notebooks and PCs.
