Minimum quantity surcharge - What you should know about our initiative

For orders up to [value in your currency, e.g. E.g. EUR 50.–] in selected product categories we charge a small quantity surcharge of a maximum of [your desired amount, e.g. B. EUR 9.00]. This surcharge allows us to offer you lower prices on cost-effective products.

Why is there a small quantity surcharge and how do you as a customer benefit from it?

The small quantity surcharge primarily relates to shipping costs.

At Zürichstore there are no small quantity surcharges in most product categories. Our products tend to be priced higher relative to size and weight, making shipping more cost-effective.

In contrast, there is a minimum quantity surcharge in certain product categories. The products tend to have a lower price relative to their size and weight, which makes shipping slightly more expensive. For example: If a customer only orders one [sample product] for [sample amount], the shipping costs and additional effort would significantly exceed our margin. The small quantity surcharge allows us to keep prices low without increasing costs for smaller orders.
